Goldfish n-back is a dual 𝑛-back game that challenges your working memory. Each round of the game displays a number somewhere in a 3×3 grid. Your task is to determine if the number and its position match the number and position 𝑛 rounds back.
The app automatically adjusts the difficulty level between rounds by changing 𝑛 to meet your skill level as you progress. You can also adjust settings to customize the game, including:
It also helps you monitor your progress. The app stores information agout each game you've played, including score and difficulty level. The history chart displays the difficulty level you've achieved over the last 30 days. You can export detailed historical score data too to perform your own analysis.
Goldfish n-back respects your privacy. All of your settings and game history stay on your device, they're saved locally and never sent anywhere. There's no sign up required. The app doesn't track you or "phone home": it makes no network connections of its own, bundles no analytics, and shows no ads.
